The Hi-COM™ Serial Port Connection provides an serial RS-232 interface between the HiLites™ Lighting Control System and a computer or controller. The Hi-COM has been designed to fit into a standard single gang wall box or rough-in bracket. The Hi-COM can be used to connect to the Hi-IR infra red interface modules. The Hi-COM can also be configured to supply HiLites network power, use a null modem cable, or a standard serial cable.
There is no limit to the number of Hi-COMs that can be in an HiLites network. Additional the Hi-COM does not count as a node on the network.
